Support Brain First Shih Tzu™

Your support helps us raise puppies with brain-first development, emotional regulation, service and therapy dog foundations, thoughtful handling, safe enrichment, and the kind of early care that helps small dogs grow into confident companions with purpose.

A young Shih Tzu puppy held gently in two cupped hands
Every gift goes directly into early development, veterinary care, enrichment, and the quiet daily work that shapes a confident dog.

Brain First Shih Tzu™ is built around one belief:develop the brain, and behavior follows.

Support may help with puppy development materials, nursery enrichment, guardian home education, training foundations, wellness support, service and therapy dog preparation, educational resources, and the continued growth of brain-first small dog development.

Ways to Help

Support Options

Puppy Development Support

Help support the early developmental work that happens before a puppy ever leaves our care, including safe handling, enrichment, confidence building, problem-solving, scent games, grooming foundations, sound exposure, and emotional regulation.

Service & Therapy Foundations Support

Every Brain First Shih Tzu™ puppy receives service and therapy dog foundation work because emotional regulation, confidence, focus, handling tolerance, and problem-solving matter whether a puppy becomes a working dog or a beloved companion.

Guardian Home Pathway Support

Support helps us educate, guide, and prepare guardian families who help raise future dogs with purpose, stability, and the higher-echelon character expected in this program.

Education & Learning Support

Support may help create educational posts, puppy development resources, buyer education, service dog preparation information, and family learning materials connected to Brain First Shih Tzu™, DogsNU™, and the Learning Library.

General Program Support

General support helps with the practical needs behind responsible puppy development, including supplies, enrichment tools, safe nursery materials, grooming supplies, training tools, wellness support, and ongoing care.

Where Support Goes

Support is directed into the parts of the program that shape a puppy's first months. Here is the honest picture of what that looks like in practice.

72 hrs
Structured transition support given to every puppy at the most sensitive point in its life.
5 senses
Sensory development streams — sight, sound, scent, touch, and movement — layered week by week.
8–12 wks
Typical window of daily handling, grooming, enrichment, and recovery practice before placement.
100%
Of support received goes back into puppy development, wellness, education, and guardian home materials.

Program Support, Not a Tax-Deductible Donation

Brain First Shih Tzu™ is a private breeding and development program. We are not a registered 501(c)(3) charity, so gifts are program support and sponsorship rather than tax-deductible charitable contributions.

We would rather say that plainly than let anyone assume otherwise. Every dollar still goes directly into raising better-prepared dogs — and we are glad to tell you exactly what your support funded.

Full program details, scope, and terms are on our Program Terms & Clarity page.
